Supper Friends 8.7.15: Best of Summer
Chef Richard Larson just cooked his 3rd Supper Friend’s with us. Richard is a Chicago native who made his way to Austin in search of sun. He first learned to cook while working at Whole Foods and his menus reflect that. They are always fresh, light, seasonal, and on trend. Richard is a young chef who has been in the 2 Dine 4 kitchen for about a year and is a sponge in the kitchen, itching to learn more techniques. He created a wonderful menu for us the highlight of which was expertly crunchy pork belly over a potato pancake, which he kept balanced and light with a bundle of haircot verts.
This Supper Friends was full of birthday celebrations and the mood was especially upbeat. The Swoop House is perfect for celebrating with your loved ones, during our Supper Friends dinners, or at your own private event. You can rent The Swoop House and have our party planners customize every detail to your specific tastes. There is no better way to celebrate than having a customized meal for you and your loved ones or a cocktail hour with appetizers for you and your friends.
The Swoop House now also sells wine. Our wine curator, Greg Randle, can order you hard to find vintages or make recommendations of what will suit your tastes. You know you will always receive quality from Greg, who is a Certified Wine Educator who has judged many wine competitions and created many wine menus for restaurants. You can stock your party full of the best wines.
