Chef Michael Murr
With a chef for a grandfather, Michael fell in love with cuisine from an early age in his hometown of Lafayette, Louisiana.There was no confusion as to what he was going to be. He attended both Johnson & Wales Culinary University and C.I.A. to master his craft. Over his career he has cooked for the German Equestrian Team in the 1996 Olympics, George Bush Sr., and Jacques Pépin. He has served as Executive Chef at Drayton Place, Quatorze French Bistro, Brookdale Gaines Ranch, and Hickory Wind Ranch. With more than 25 years of experience in culinary arts, Chef Michael enjoys blending his French and Spanish techniques with Americana classics to create a fusion full of Southern swagger..
