derek 1Supper Friends had a super special evening hosting chefs & brothers Chad & Derek Sarno. They are firm believers in eating and cooking healthy – with no loss to amazing flavors, textures and beauty. The menu for the evening was all vegan and fantastic:


Golden Beets, merlot gel, candied pecan, grapefruit, cheese, horseradish


Ricotta & Tomatoes, campari tomato confit, charred leeks, crispy bread

wine pairing: 2012 Sangiovese, Donna Laura, Ali, Tuscany, Italy


Wicked Nicoise, haricot vert, wicked surprises, mustard seed vinaigrette, olive dirt

wine pairing: 2014 Sauvignon Blanc Mendocino, Elizabeth Spencer, Rutherford, California, USA


Spring Ravioli, fava, spring peas and herbs, sherry parmesan cream, crushed almonds

wine pairing: 2012 Riesling, Seven HIlls, Columbia Valley, WA, USA


King Scalloped Mushroom, asparagus, corona beans, sorrel pesto

wine pairing: 2012 Pinot Noir, La Follette, North Coast Sonoma, CA, USA


Drunk Fruit, amaretto gelato, berries and melon, fennel, white balsamic, pistachio

wine pairing: 2013 Moscato d’Asti, Elio Perrone, Italy
